Muhammad-Muhammad Al Said Hussayn Jebril, known in the Muslim world as "Sheikh Jebril" is a graduate of Muslim law from the University of Al Azhar. He learned the Quran at the age of 9. More than once, Sheikh Jebril has won the Egyptian and international Quran recitation competitions. He was appointed Imam of the famous' Amr Ibn Al'Ass mosque in Cairo in 1988. Each year tens of thousands of people flock to this mosque during the month of Ramadan to attend the prayers of Tarawîh over which he presides. Sheikh Muhammad Jebril is also a professor at the University of Jordan. He has to his credit several complete recitations of the Koran. He participated in and organized numerous television programs in several channels in the Arab world around Koranic themes. Finally, Cheikh Jebril is particularly appreciated for the quality of his “Dou'as Al Qunût” (invocations made during prayer).
These 3 DVDs contain the video recording of Tarawîh's prayers made at the 'Amr Ibn Al-'Ass mosque during the month of Ramadan 2005. The suras chanted are: Al-Baqara (The cow), Al-'Imrân (The family of Imran), Saba '(Saba), Fâtir (The Creator), Al-Ahzâb (The allies), Ghâfir (The Forgiver), Al-Dukhân (The smoke) as well as the Dou'a Al Qunût, the supplication of the night of the 27th of Ramadan (called 'Night of Destiny' - Laylat Al-Qadr) and that of the end of recitation of the Holy Quran (Dou'a Khatm Al Qur'ân).
For the purpose of learning, the 3 DVDs have been fully translated into French (subtitles from the Koran and the Dou'as).
