Men's ready-to-wear (Qamis and others)
The chest measurement is measured at the strongest point. For qamis they have a special numbering used in the Middle East (for example the M will generally correspond to size 54).

Size guide for Qamis Daffah, AlBai, etc.
Some brands like Daffah, AlBai adopt a more precise sizing system allowing to have a quasi-tailor-made qamis ... The size is chosen according to two criteria: The length (54, 56, 58, 60 ...) and body size (S, M, L, XL…). So their sizes are in this form: 54M, 54L, 56M, 56L, 56XL, 58M, 58L, 58XL, 60L, etc.
Example: If you usually wear M then you can take either 54M (if you are between 169 and 172 cm) or 56M (173 and 176 cm) from 58M (1.77 cm and 180 cm) in all cases you can always shorten the Qamis if it is too long ...
How to take your measurements ?
- Chest measurement Measure precisely the widest point of your chest, passing under the armpits then at the level of the pecs, keeping the tape measure horizontally.
- Neckband Pass the tape measure around your neck and take your measurement at Adam's apple level.
- Length Measure from your trapezius (muscle between the shoulder and neck), working along your chest to the desired low level.
- Sleeve Measure from the point of the shoulder and then along your arm until you reach the first joint of your thumb.
Important: The length of the sleeves takes priority over the length of the Qamis. If you find that the Qamis is too long, it is up to you to adjust its length.
If you are between two sizes we recommend that you take the larger one.
The size guide is in itself a tool of choice, so do not neglect it when ordering your qamis!
