Case law (Fiqh)

In Arabic the word Fiqh فقه literally means "reflection, understanding, intelligence, wisdom". It can be translated as "jurisprudence" or "the science of the Law". The Fiqh is divided into two main parts: Fiqh al-'Ibâdât فقه العبادات (Acts of worship and worship rules), it includes: Purification, Salât, Zakat, fasting and pilgrimage. Fiqh al-Mou'âmalât فقه المعاملات (Civil behavior), it encompasses all kinds of contractual relationships (civil law, commercial law, penalties, diplomacy ..)
