A concentrate of knowledge gathered in a single product

Thanks to rich content and progressive learning, the IQRA method allows the French-speaking public to acquire the knowledge necessary for the discovery of Arab-Muslim literature. The IQRA method consists of 4 parts:

1. The Arabic alphabet: to learn to read and write Arabic (letters, vowels and words).
2. General vocabulary and Islamic terminology: to know more than 5000 words (detailed and classified by themes). Islamic terminology contains the most important terms to know to approach Islamic literature in the Arabic language (All words are classified by themes: Prayer, Purification, Pilgrimage, Behavior, Jurisprudence, etc.), as well as the terminology of the Quran ( the beautiful names of Allah, the names of the prophets, etc.)
3. The Islamic library: to learn and understand:
   1. The Koran: The 37 Suras of Jouz '' Ama with commentaries, as well as other selected verses, such as Ayat-Al-Kursî. Each verse is available in Arabic and French with phonetic transcription, the psalmody of the Koran is from Sheikh Hudhaifi and Sheikh Rifâ'i. In addition, each verse has an Arabic / French lexicon detailing the meaning of each word in the verse.
   2. The Hadiths: Selection of more than 100 authentic Hadiths (Sahîh) classified by themes. Likewise, it is possible to listen to each Hadith, an AR / FR lexicon is available.
   3. Reminders (Dhikr) and Invocations (Dou'â ') taken from the prophetic tradition (The Sunna of the Prophet BSDL).
4. Review through play: a set of games and exercises to review the knowledge of the first three parts. The games are divided into categories:
   • Alphabet games: Set of games to review the alphabet, vowels, and learn to write through dictations on general and Islamic vocabulary as well as dictation of the Koran.
   • Games on general vocabulary: To revise while having fun over 4000 words.
   • Islamic terminology games: A series of games to review Islamic vocabulary.
   • Quran Games: Games and exercises for reviewing and learning the Quran.
   • Games on Hadiths and Dou'a: Games and exercises to revise and learn the Hadiths of the Prophet (BSDL).

Understanding well to learn better

Because you only learn well if you really understand, the IQRA method provides you with a set of educational tools to make learning truly effective. In addition to the Arabic version and its phonetic transcription , all verses and hadiths are accompanied by a translation into French, a lexicon (Arabic / French) detailing the meaning of each word and a quality sound recording .

Educational tools for effective learning

Among the other tools to strengthen your skills:

• Progress Scoreboard: Summarizes your results in games and exercises. So you can know where you are in revising vocabulary, Quran and Hadiths. The number of correct and incorrect answers as well as the level of progress is displayed in graphical form.
• Two bilingual dictionaries (AR / FR and FR / AR): for general vocabulary (4000 words) and specialized terminology (1000 words).
• Writing assistance workshop: It will help you practice writing Arabic.
• Multi-User System: IQRA is a Multi-User method (you can protect your work with a password), multiple users can use it on the same computer. Each user can view their progress level in the Progress Dashboard.
• Recording console: Very useful for correct pronunciation (by imitating the samples on the CD-ROM). You can record your voice and compare it to the pronunciation of the verses of the Quran or to the vocabulary and Hadiths. You can practice with more than 6000 sound samples.
• Search engine: Allows you to quickly find any word in dictionaries, Hadiths and the Koran.
• Printable Arabic language courses : over 100 course pages covering all topics: writing, spelling, vocabulary, grammar, conjugation ...
